The intent of this page is to display what I am calling devotionals that I began writing in March, 2020.

Soon after the Covid onset people began to cease to come to church. The youth pastor and I decided that we would send church to them with daily devotionals to encourage our people to be in the Word. My job, my seminary professor told me, was to make my disciples independently dependent on the Word of God. I was to help people catch a vision for investing time in God’s Word each day and to be confident in their ability to access God the Spirit’s enabling to understand what they read. Of course, the other reason for these devotionals is so that I would ensure that I am daily in God’s Word. Truly, the teacher must be taught. So, to the Word I go!
